Problems in South Africa... What do you think

yes.... they got some main problems in South Africa... what do you think gonna happen??? Sepp Blatter talked already about a Plan B if the Confederationscup wouldnt be perfect....

If they dont sort out there problems soon there is talk it will be held in Germany. I don't think any of the venues are ready & it needs sorted soon.

FIFA is in talks with in Brazil about staging the 2010 World Cup if South Africa should be unable to host the event, which would lead me to think that everyone is concerned with unrest in South Africa...

they will be fine ... considering that they have hosted many other major events, such as 20/20!!

I just am not sure how many people would really be willing to travel to this area with all the political unrest... I think it might be good planning for them to move it.

I think South Africa will host WC 2010, They still have more then 1 year to solve those problems.
They will do anything to host it, It will bring money to them so I don't believe they will pass this.

I don't think they will move it, enough time to finish the job.

Also they are trying to promote Africa in this sport and all the commercials against racism would have been in vain if they moved the World Cup somewhere else!

personally i feel they will manage to host because no nation would like to turn up such a golden opportunity...it will boost them and will bring many people there...they stil have so much time left and i think they will certainly do something to solve the matter..
in the past they have hosted many other large scale tournaments and world cups of other games like cricket...
Also being a football freak i too would like africa hosting the football world cup...at least football is all about harmony and emergence of the best..
