Barcelona’s dream of winning the La Liga title all but ended after a goal less draw at home to Espanyol. Barcelona dominated the whole match but when they got to the final third they didnt have the craft or creativity to open Espanyol up. Eidur Gugjohnsen had the best chance of the first half as he had a great chance but was kept out by a fantastic save by the Espanyol goalie Carlos Kameni.Barcelona made two sub’s at half time to try and freshen up the team to push for that goal.They brought on Super Kid Lionel Messi and midfielder Andres Iniesta it seem to work as Barcelona strarted to get at Espanyol’s goal.Samuel Eto’o should half scored 6 mins into the second half but dragged his shot wide when he was in a good position.Then again Eto’o missed anouther glorious chance 5 mins from time but couldn’t get onto a great cross into the box.This result now leaves them 8 points behind Real Madrid and no hope of the title with only the chanpions league to play for.
