Barcelona’s dream of winning the La Liga title all but ended after a goal less draw at home to Espanyol. Barcelona dominated the whole match but when they got to the final third they didnt have the craft or creativity to open Espanyol up. Eidur Gugjohnsen had the best chance of the first half as he had a great chance but was kept out by a fantastic save by the Espanyol goalie Carlos Kameni. Read more

Carlos Tevez’s kept Man Utd in the hunt for the premiership title with a late equaliser against Blackburn.Man Utd who brought back Vidic in defence & Kuszczak in goal looked shaky in defence from the start when in the 6th min Kuszczak had to be quick to block Jason Roberts point blank.Tevez then wasted a fantastic chance in the 10th min when a cross from Rooney only had to be touched by Tevez for Man utd to take the lead.It was Blackburn who had the killer touch after 21 mins when Gamst Pedersen throw in had the Man Utd defence all over the place & Santa Cruz slid in from 10 yards to score.Blackburn then nearly doubled there advantage when Bentley had his 25 yard shot tipped over by Kuszczak.Rooney’s temper then started to take over when after have a penalty decision went aganst him he went in two footed into Samba but only got a yellow card.Friedel then started to produce some fantastic saves when on 42th min he dived to save a fine header from Ronaldo from a giggs cross. Liverpool cerment 4th spot while Fulham go deeper into relegation now 5 points from safety.Fulham started of the best for the first 10 min as they put pressure on Liverpool but cauldn’t really carve out any goal scoring opportunities.It was Pennant who brought Liverpool into the game when he produced a good cross for Crouch who’s header just miss the goal.Then Liverpool’s first goal came as Voronin got hold of the ball & made a good pass to Lucas who with some skill found a super through ball to Pennant who hit a fantastic shot from outside the aera which flew past Keller & into the net.Fulham had a couple of chances to level it up just before half time as Brede Hangeland put his head past the post when he should have scored & Brian McBride missed a volley when Keller had made a big kick forward. Aresnal were back to there best as they outclassed Reading at the emerates and put Reading in more relegation trouble.The game started brightly as Aresnal passed there way round Reading with ease at times but there finishing let them down again as against Man Utd.But on the 30th min Kolo Toure broke down the right & delivered a perfect cross for Adebayour who calmly finished into the net.Aresnel were then on top & it wasnt long before it was 2-0 as Gilberto Silva took on a long shot which then took a deflection of Bikey’s head & sailed into the net after hitting Hahnemann hand on the way.Hahnemann had to save twice more from Toure & Gilberto or the score could have bin much wores for Reading at the half. Chelsea put pressure on Man Utd as they put in a workman like display against Everton. Chelsea started off the best team with there slick passing and movment and at times you wouldnt think that they only played on monday night. Everton’s only chance in the first half & proberly there best player on the night Manuel Fernandes had a free kick which dipped right infront of Cech and he had to parry it over.But for all Chelsea’s passing & skill they just couldn’t find that final ball untill the 41st min when Essien played a nice one-two with Shaun Wright-Phillips got through one on one with the keeper and clipped the ball over Howard into the net.
